Baseline CSS – a modern CSS framework for real designers

We have seen enormous amount of development frameworks, all of them are different, but the allow developers to take their job easy and provide base functions for them so they would not have to build them from scratch. Baseline is a design framework for CSS. It works in two ways to achieve its goals: it resets the browser stylesheets so there will be no surprises by having a completely differently looking website in all browsers.

Second and the most important goal is to prepare a base for the typography methods to be applied to the design. Setting up a grid is the best description for this, so all the fonts. paragraphs, lines and breaks would be displayed according to the baseline specified by typography rules.

Extremely helpful for all-new browsers (allows to use HTML5 and CSS3), but still effective on older ones too (except for IE6 which is not fully supporting CSS2.1 features).
